What a networking concierge is

A networking concierge does the outreach part of recruiting for you: finding the right people at the firms you want, writing to them and following up, so your time goes to the calls themselves. A coach is different. A coach teaches you how to network while you still find every person and send every email, and a course gives you templates. The useful question to ask any service is simple: who actually sends the emails?

Who does the outreach, service by service

What it costs next to coaching

Coaching programs that cover networking cost $2,250 (Management Consulted Black Belt) to $11,000 (Wall Street Oasis Academy with its offer guarantee), and hourly coaches run from about $55 to more than $500 an hour. A concierge costs less per month because it is not selling hours with a person. It sells the outreach itself. The full price table is in our guide to what investment banking coaching costs.

Finance or consulting

BreakIn says it is built for investment banking and consulting. Coastal Haven lists investment banking, private equity, hedge funds and venture capital. Wall Street Mastermind is investment banking only, and Management Consulted is consulting only. Paperclip covers investment banking, consulting, private equity, hedge funds and venture capital, with more than 25,000 professionals in its database.

Is it worth it over doing it yourself

Doing it yourself costs little money and a lot of hours: finding the right analysts, writing a note to each one, and remembering to follow up for weeks. Most students start strong and stop around midterms. A concierge is worth it if the hours are what is stopping you, and not worth it if you will keep up the emails on your own. Either way, the emails should go out from your own address, so replies come straight to you and the conversations are yours.

Frequently asked questions

What is a networking concierge?

A service that does the outreach part of recruiting for you: finding people at the firms you want, writing to them and following up. A coach teaches you to do that yourself.

Which networking services send emails for you?

Of the services we checked in October 2026, Paperclip sends the emails for you from your own inbox, and BreakIn automates emails and follow-ups that you set up yourself. ModernGuild and InGenius Prep help with introductions. Coaching programs and courses teach you to send them.

How much do networking concierge services cost?

Paperclip Concierge is $149 a month after a 14-day free trial. BreakIn has a free plan and a $50 a month Premium plan. ModernGuild and InGenius Prep do not publish prices. Coaching programs that cover networking run $2,250 to $11,000.

Do networking services work for non-target students?

They help most there, because students at non-target schools get fewer campus events and alumni visits, so the conversations have to come from outreach. Start with alumni of your school at the banks your school already feeds.
