What does Autopilot actually do?
You pick industries, firm sizes and cities once. Every weekday Paperclip finds analysts and associates who fit, writes each one a short personal email, sends it from your own inbox a few at a time, follows up twice if they do not answer, and stops the moment they reply. Replies land in your inbox, and you take the call.
Who is behind Paperclip?
People who have been through it. We worked at a bulge bracket bank and went through MBB recruiting, multiple superdays included. We built Paperclip to do the part that decided it for us: getting in front of the right people early, from your own inbox, while you focus on the conversations.
Do I see the emails before they go out?
You see your first three before you turn Autopilot on, and they go out exactly as written. After that every email and follow-up shows up on your Autopilot page, and you can pause, change targets or skip a firm anytime.
Will this spam bankers?
No. Each professional hears from Paperclip at most once every two weeks across all students, each student emails at most three people at one firm a week, new inboxes ramp up slowly, and firms whose addresses bounce are paused for everyone. That is also what keeps your inbox out of spam folders.
Whose email does it send from?
Yours. You connect your personal Gmail or Outlook, so bankers see a real student, not a platform. Paperclip only sends what Autopilot writes for your targets and checks those threads for replies.
Why is Concierge limited?
Your best targets are alumni from your own school, and that list is short. If your whole class ran Autopilot, you would all be emailing the same people. So we take 10 students per school, and when a school fills up, new students join a waitlist.
What is the send guarantee?
If we fall behind on sending your emails because of something on our side, your next month is free. We guarantee the work, not the replies, because the work is the part we control. It counts whenever Autopilot was on or we paused it (for example to protect your inbox from bounces). It does not count months you paused it yourself or disconnected your inbox. The credit is applied to your next bill automatically.
How does this compare to a coach or a service?
Vendor-page prices as of September 2026: a consulting coach runs $144 to $350 an hour, Mergers & Inquisitions coaching packages are $647 to $1,997, Management Consulted's Black Belt is $2,250, Wall Street Oasis Academy is $7,000 (or $11,000 with the offer guarantee), and a career coach for college students charges about $325 an hour. All of them teach or advise. Concierge is $149 a month, and it does the outreach itself, every weekday, from your own inbox, with interview prep included.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, cancel in one click from Settings. Autopilot stops at the end of your billing period and nothing else goes out.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use Firebase Auth and never store your password, your inbox connection is encrypted, and payment is handled by Stripe.
